How to Post a Comment

The first page you will be on is the homepage. From there, you have different ways to leave comments. 

1.The quickest way to comment is to scroll down the screen until you see the word "comments."

As you can see on the right in the red boxes, it says the words "4 comments" or "2 comments." Clicking those will take you to the comment box.

(If this is the way you wish to comment, you can scroll down to step 4 ).







2. Alternatively you can go to the specific post or page you wish to comment on.

To go to a certain page, you can scroll down the screen until you find the list of links titled "Pages."

You simply have to click on one of the page links and it will direct you to the page's comment box.

(If this is how you want to comment, you can skip to step 4).









3. You can also choose a particular post from the blog to comment on.

As you scroll down the screen further, you'll see another list of links. This one is called "Blog Archive" and it has links to all the posts of the blog, organized by year and month.

You can click the year, then the month, then the post that you want. After clicking that link, it will take you to that post so you can comment on it.









4. After clicking the word "comments," selecting a particular page, or a particular post, you will be taken to the screen where you can comment.

From there you need to scroll down until you go to the comments section, near the bottom of the page.

You will see the previous comments, if there are any, and below that a box where you can type your comment.










5. Before typing your comment, you need to choose your "profile" which will appear as the name that will show up with the comment.

As you can see in the red box above, there if a drop down menu that allows you to choose different profiles, or identities, for your comment. 

By clicking on the down arrow, you will get multiple choices to select from. Click the words "Name/URL" from the drop-down menu.   

After clicking "Name/URL" a pop-up box will show up. 

Since the comments on the blogspot are completely public, enter only your first name (or even just your initials or a nickname) into the Name box. (A URL is not necessary nor is it recommended since the website is public.)

Click continue and enter your comment. 

Click publish (as pointed to above) and your comment will appear on the page, under the older comments.
